The length of flat table for membrane switch

The application of Membrane switch is wide, mostly is control keyboard, such as Automotive equipments, Medical instruments, Mechanical instruments, Transportation, Household Electric Application Control etc, all of them can be waterproof switch control panel.

The lead wire or flat tail is the extension line of the membrane switch, because the contact port of many devices is not near the installation of the membrane switch. 

This also extends the lead wire meaning flat tail. 

If the designed lead wire is not long enough, and the interface is not far away, in this condition, it can only be declared bad or a design problem.

Therefore, when designing the lead wire, the length, width, and the position distribution of the contact ports should be considered to facilitate the placement of the line.
