Building Tooling or Mould to make testing samples for approval

The sample is an important basis for the quality control of Kaike electronical membrane switch and a tool for communication with customers. 

Its role is mainly reflected in the following two aspects.

First, the sample can help the customer to check the various information contained in the document so that it can be modified in time, such as fonts, patterns, colors, and so on. The color is the most difficult to control in proofing, because different panel materials and thick ink will cause the color of the sample to change.

Second, the sample can be used as a contract between the customer and the membrane switch factory. Contract samples should be accurately matched to the final membrane switch, and the contract sample should be printed shortly before mass production to avoid fading and distortion of the sample due to long time.

Prototype is the process of connecting prepress between production and offset mean screen printing, allowing users to anticipate the effects of the final membrane switch before mass production. It can provide standards for the entire membrane switches production process, providing a strong guarantee for the improvement quality of membrane switches.

Two ways of membrane switch Prototypes:

First, soft prototypes:

Soft proofing is implemented on a color display and is undoubtedly the most convenient, fastest, and cheapest way to proof. Color displays are required to be accurate and must be properly calibrated. The obvious shortcoming of the soft proofing method is: low resolution, only 72dpi; the accuracy of color depends on the performance and calibration of the display, the metallic color can not be accurately reflected; can not provide the film switch production process of Kaike Membrane Switch Keyboards Plant's reference.

Second, the traditional prototypes:

Need to output film sheets and make a screen, and then complete the prototypes on the screen printing machine.

The traditional tooling sample and production version are the same. Toolings or moulds and mass production use the same file data, and too or mould can reveal potential problems such as moiré, color and font pattern design or artwork.
